Trend Penelitian Literasi Matematika Tahun 2014-2024 : Penelitian Systematic Literature Review (SLR)

This study aims to analyze the trend of mathematical literacy research in the period 2014-2024 using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on bibliometrics. Mathematical literacy is an essential skill in the 21st century that includes an individual's capacity to formulate, apply, and interpret mathematics in various contexts, and involves mathematical reasoning. Data were collected from the Scopus database with the keyword "Mathematical literacy", resulting in 39 relevant documents after a rigorous selection process. The findings show that the keywords that often appear are mathematical literacy, critical thinking, decision making, citizenship education, and digital technology. The research trend shifted from a focus on basic mathematical literacy, numeracy, and educational outcomes in 2014-2018, then to COVID-19 issues, active citizenship, and assessment policies in 2019-2021, to the digital economy, design research, adult numeracy, and critical mathematics education in 2022-2024. The results of the study show that mathematical literacy is still very relevant to be studied in Indonesia in accordance with 21st century developments, including aspects of pedagogy, students, teachers, and learning methods.
